For dynamically mapping in DisConnect Integration with conditions of Discogs with eBay, first, we need to authenticate your eBay account.

For that, you need to firstly log in to our integration.

After login, you will land on the dashboard.

From the product dropdown, you will see Channel Setting.
Click on the eBay tab.

Step 1: The first thing you need to do is to click on the button Authenticate eBay.

Step 2: Now you’ll get redirected to the eBay account login page, put your details and login into your account.

After login, it will ask for permission, to grant access to our application, click on the “I Agree” and proceed to the next step.

Upon successful authentication of your eBay account, you will see the following options as shown in the screenshot below

We have 4 steps that are mandatory inorderto complete your eBay set up.

1. Fulfillment Policy Setup
2. Payment Policy Selection
3. Return Policy Selection
4. Merchant Location Setup

Fulfillment Policy Setup

As an eBay seller, It is mandatory to have fulfillment policies created for every single product you sell on your eBay marketplace. On clicking the “Refresh data” option, all your policies including the Fulfillment policy are synced from eBay to to DisConnect. Once your policies are fetched, you can use the drop down to select your default postage policy.

Format based fulfiment policy

If you would like to select multiple fulfillment policies for all the formats you sell on eBay, please create multiple fulfillment policies on eBay, click on the “Refresh Data” option so they are fetched.

And select the + set Format Based Fulfillment Policy and select your Formats, Format Descriptions and then select your corresponding eBay Fulfillment Policies and be sure to click on the update option once you’re done.

Payment & Returns Policy Selection:

Similar to the previous Fulfillment policy, both Payment & Return policies are also created in advance on the eBay marketplace using your seller account. DisConnect will sync your policies from eBay when you click on the “Refresh Data” and they will be available for you to select on the drop downs. Please select the appropriate policies and be sure to save them by clicking on the “Update” option at the end of the page.

My fulfillment, Return & Payment policies are not created on eBay?

If your policies are not created on eBay, you will not be able to fetch them via the sync option. DisConnect however, allows you to create them within the application by clicking on the Manage Policies option near your respective policy as shown in the screenshot below.

Clicking it will open the following page:

Managing Fulfillment Policies:

• Create a policy Name – It can be a friendly name that you can give to your policy
• Service type is selected as “FLAT” by default and you have the option to enable “Global Shipping”
• Domestic Services:

Select your Shipping services, Charges, Additional Charges, COD fee and the option to enable “Free Shipping”. Handling Time can also be given in domestic services

• International  Services:

Select your Shipping services, Charges, Additional Charges, COD fee and the option to enable “Free Shipping”.

• Save your policy once it’s configured.

Managing Payment Policies:

• Create a policy Name – It can be a friendly name that you can give to your policy
• Enable/Disable Immediate Pay
• Select your Payment options from the various options give as shown in the below snapshot
• Enter your “Additional Checkout information”.
• Save your policy once it’s configured

Managing Return Policies:

• Create a policy Name – It can be a friendly name that you can give to your policy
• Enable/Disable Returns accepted depending on whether you accept returns or not
• Select the refund option you’d like to provide your customers
  • Money Back
  • Moneny Back or Replacement (Buyer’s Choice)
  • Money Back or Exchange (Buyer’s Choice)
• Refund notice period is the timeframe you set for your buyers to contact you should they have a problem. You can set the below timelines:
  • 15 days
  • 30 days
  • 60 days
• Refund shipping cost can be borne either by the seller or the buyer. So select the option you’d like to provide accordingly.

Once you finish created your policies you can select them from the respective drop-down as explained in the steps earlier.

Merchant Location:

DisConnect provides you the option to either sync your already created Merchant Location on eBay using the “Refresh Data” option & select it from the drop down or manually create a location using the Add Merchant Location option provided.

Upon clicking the Add Merchant Location, a pop up will open giving you the option to enter the following

Merchant location can be any user friendly appropriate name you wish to give for your Merchant location without using spaces. You can select your country & corresponding city.

Once youʻre done be sure to click on the “Update” button once all your policies are updated as per your preferences.

Authentication is completed.
