Shopify Meta Fields

Step1: Login to your Shopify account, go to settings, and click on meta fields. Choose the part of the store you want to add a new field to.

Step2: For example – Click on products and start adding a new field to your products.

Step3: Add any name in the name field, add some description which you would like to mention, and give read access to your app.

Step4: Select content type as “single line text” and click on one value. Once all these are done, please click on the save button.

(Note: Namespace and key given in the above screenshot will be automatically generated in your Shopify and we will need this to complete the settings in Disconnect.)

Using Shopify meta fields – For Shopify to Discogs sync

You can map Discogs sleeve condition, media condition, Release Id, Notes, etc. with Shopify meta fields. The value entered in the field will be mapped for your Shopify products, If the meta field is found the item will go to the respective Discogs condition.

Step2: Enter Shopify MetaField Namespace and Key for Release Id, Media Condition, Sleeve Condition, and Notes and save it once done.
