How to get Shopify Access Token
Here are the steps to get Shopify token:
Step 1: First you need to log in to your Shopify account.
URL: https://accounts.shopify.com/
Step 2: Once you logged in, you need to click on the “Apps” option.
Step 3: Coming to the next, you need to click on Develop apps, and then click on Create a custom app
Enter the App Name and click on Create App button at the bottom of the page. After creating an App, it will redirect you to the below page:
Click on the API Admin scope and select the below-mentioned permissions
- Fulfillment Services (View or manage fulfillment services)
- Inventory (View or manage inventory across multiple locations)
- Locations (View or manage inventory across multiple locations)
- Order editing (View or manage edits to order)
- Order(View and manage orders, transactions, fulfillment, and abandoned checkouts)
- Merchant-managed fulfillment orders (Write & read)
- Product Listing (View or manage product or collection listing)
- Products (View and manage products, variants, and Collections). For all of them, you have to give a Read and Write Permission.
Click on the Save button.
Now, go to Storefront API integration, and select the Customer and Products menu as mentioned in the below-attached screenshots.
Click on the Save button.
Install the app and obtain the API access tokens.
After configuring the API Scopes, i.e Admin API Integration and Storefront API Integration. Now Install the app. you can install the app. You’ll get your API access tokens after you install.
If you selected Admin API scopes for the app, then go to the Admin API access token section and click Reveal token once.
Just copy the API password from the textbox and use it on Disconnect as a Shopify API Password.
