Disconnect

Here are the steps needed to authenticate your SquareUp account to complete setting up your Point of Sale with DisConnect.

Step 1: Login to your SquareUp account using this URL : https://squareup.com/login

Step 2: Once you’re logged in, create an app with the name DisConnect in your developer account. To do that, click on this URL.

Step 3: Once DisConnect App is created, click on the open button on the DisConnect App.

Step 4: Click on the “Credentials” tab on the  left, and select “Production” from the menu above and copy the Access Token after clicking on the show option.

Step 5: Paste your Access Token in the DisConnect Squareup credential settings in the Square Access Token as shown below in the field 1.

Once that is done, Copy the Webhook Endpoint URL shown in 2 in the above screenshot and click on the “Save” option.

Step 6: Click on “Webhooks” on the left panel & select “Add Endpoint” as shown in the below screen.

Step 7: Upon clicking the “Add Endpoint”, the pop on the below screenshot opens up.

• Enter a Webhook Name as shown in the below screenshot
• Paste the Webhook Endpoint URL that you copied from DisConnect in the URL section.
• Leave the API version as default
• Under the Events section, check the “Select All” option

Click on “Save” when you’re done.

This should complete your authentication of Squareup with DisConnect and you’re now ready to sync your products using DisConnect.
