Introduction to get started in KoConnect
KoConnect helps to quickly integrate Shopify products with Kogan Marketplace. With this hassle-free integration, it is very easy to manage your products, and orders efficiently. Here are the steps to sign up in the KoConnect app.
Step 1: You can use the below URL for registration.
Firstly you need to register in our KoConnect app.
Step 2: Registration Process consists of two steps. Firstly you need to fill the below details.
- Password: It should have a minimum of 8 characters with 1 Capital, 1 Numeric, 1 special character.
- Confirm Password: Here you need to fill all the details and then click on the Next button.
After that, you need to fill in other details related to the API.
- Shopify Domain: You will get this domain while creating a Shopify account. Its uniqueness can be checked by the system.
- Shopify Password: Password is created while you create your account in Shopify.
- Kogan SellerID: The seller Id is provided by Kogan when you create your account.
- Kogan Seller Token: You can get this from Kogan’s support.
Now, click on the Submit button. After Logging into the Panel, It will redirect to you in Dashboard.
In the dashboard, you can see total Shopify products, total Kogan products, products failed, products pending and product unpublished. By default “Publish to Kogan Button” is always on. You can turn it off if you don’t want any particular product to be in Kogan.
Step 3: API Settings
- Shopify Account Details
Domain- This field is already filled as it is done in the second step of registration itself.
Access Token- It is the token that you have generated from your Shopify panel. Its uniqueness can be checked by the system. Learn how to get a Shopify token.
- Kogan Seller Details
Seller Id- This field is already filled as it is done in the second step of registration itself.
Seller Token- You can get this from Kogan’s support.
- Master Setting
Product Synchronization- By default, it will be Off. You need to turn this on for the synchronization process.
- Flat Shipping Rate For Kogan Product synced
You can keep the Shipping rate according to your convenience.
- Product Repricing Setting
Enable Repricing- You can enable or disable repricing as per your wish. This feature is used for repricing products on the Kogan marketplace only.
Reprice by- There are two ways to which repricing can be done.
And that is by percentage or by price. You can select any of the two options which are suitable for you. You can enter the quantity with which you can increase or decrease the pricing in respective fields.
- Default Kogan Product Brand Details
For Kogan Marketplace, Kogan Brand’s name is a must. Either you can add brand name via Shopify tags or you can add a default brand name.
- Set Email Ids For Error Notifications
Here you can provide the email id where you want to get the error notification.
- Default handling time for Product
It is the dispatch time of products from the warehouse. It is visible in Kogan.
Note-KoConnect will show them the list of all existing Shopify products in Dashboard & Users need to set up the Brand data for each product that they want to sync. Or also can set up the default Brand name in Setting so if there is no Brand data for the individual product system will use the default one.
After setting up Brand data, one needs to ON the Product Synchronisation from Master Setting to sync Product to Kogan(By Default it will be off).
Step 4: Manage Users
A seller may have various employees/colleagues whom they want to share the data. For that, you can use this feature. Here You can add any number of users according to your need. They can only see the products but can not control any settings
Step 5: Carrier Mapping
With the Carrier Mapping feature, you can map Shopify carrier with respective Kogan carrier.
Order Sync(Kogan to Shopify)
The carrier mapping feature is basically for order fulfillment. Once you get the order on your Kogan account, then our integration will help to sync it with the Shopify account. The log for the same will get displayed in our portal’s dashboard.
Order Fulfillment(Shopify to Kogan)
The Order which got synced by our integration to Shopify, the seller will enter the fulfillment details to that Order & can mark it as fulfilled. The information related to Carrier & Tracking will get synced to Kogan back. The seller can partially fulfill the Order as well in Shopify, then the integration will sync the tracking information to Kogan for those items of order only which got fulfilled. You need to make sure that the Carrier Mapping is completed in the portal before.
Step 6: Category Mapping
In Shopify, The product type will be mapped to the Kogan category. Here you can easily map the product category from the drop-down.
Step 7: Variant Option Mapping
Sometimes Shopify Variant Option is not available in Kogan. That is why we need to map it with the Colour and Size of the Kogan variant field. For example, if you have a product in Shopify as material then Kogan will not accept the material value. You need to map it by color or size via the Kogan variant field.
Step 8: Custom Field Mapping
It helps to map your Shopify Custom Field with your Kogan account with the help of our integration. So firstly you need to create Custom Field from your Shopify account. And this can be done through a third-party app from your Shopify Account.
From the Shopify account, in the app section, you can find an app named Custom Field and you can install it. If you are using a free version of this, then you can be able to add only ten custom fields.
Now, you need to select Add Fields and then you can add Custom Field value for each product from Edit Custom Field option. After adding the Customs Fields our integration will dynamically fetch the details and then you can map it to Kogan Subtitle.
Now, you can see the Custom Field which you have added from a third-party app in the Shopify account. You can map only one Custom Field to Subtitle(Kogan Fields).
So here what comes under the title is your subtitle. Here Mapped is your subtitle.
