Getting started with Integrato

Integrato helps SaaS companies launch their white labelled apps Marketplace & holistically allows their end users to complete their journey by allowing them to discover, purchase & launch applications in your app marketplace.

In this article, we will be walking through the Admin Portal which grants you the feasibility to completely manage your app ecosystem. In a nutshell, you can track & manage the app approval process, control & communicate with developers & organisations and monitor advanced analytics which lets you identify top grossing apps, reviews & so on.

After registration & email verification, login to Integrato.

Step 1: Creating your organization

Upon clicking the “Create Organization” button, you’ll be taken to the respective page. 

  • Logo & Favicon
    Upload your Logo & Favicon for your App Marketplace
  • Basic Information
    Name, Marketplace URL, Developer URL & About Organization.Your Marketplace URL will be created with the default domain name E.g. yourmarketplace.integrato.ioYour Developer URL will be created with the default domain name integrato.ioE.g. yourdevelopers.integrato.ioHowever,Should you wish to use a Custom Domain, you’re free to enter the same. Eg. or developers.salesforce.comPlease do note, for External domains, you’re required to create a CNAME/A records. Please check out this detailed guide for more info on how you can do that.
  • Contact Information
    Key in all your contact relevant information like Address, Country, State, City, Phone, Email, Website which various end users can use to get in touch with you, if needed.
  • Social Links
    Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram & Pintrest. Connect links which point to your organization’s various social media platforms from your marketplace
  • Terms & Conditions and Privacy PolicyLink your Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy for your marketplace to ensure you meet all the necessary compliances and make sure your customer’s data is protected under all the various data protection laws like GDPR.

With that your Marketplace & Developer Portal are now completed. Let’s move on ahead & configure all the much needed settings

Step 2: Manage Teams

You can invite your team members by going to the Mange Teams section

(Settings->Manage Teams) and clicking on the “Invite Member” button and grant/revoke access to various modules & the same for permissions based on their roles.

You can always view & delete or alter their permissions at any point in time

Step 3: Email Settings

Email settings control sending of email notifications to developers.

To begin with, Email Notifications can be enabled or disabled. This particular setting can be set as a default setting should you have created multiple Email Settings.

Email settings allow you to configure your “From Name” , “From Address” and your Custom SMTP. The Custom SMTP setting allows you to enable or disable the use of a custom SMTP server for developers to receive notifications.

Step 4: Marketplace Settings

The marketplace settings gives you the feasibility to set up the following

  • Development mode
    This mode will allow you to restrict access to your online marketplace by protecting it with a password. Only someone who is aware of the password will have access to your online app store.You’ll be able to set-up your password here along with any message that you’d like to share with your users should they visit your marketplace when the development mode is active.
  • Theme colour
    The marketplace theme colour i.e. your gradient start and gradient end colour can be set up in this section.

Step 5: Category Settings

Category settings grants you the feasibility to allow your developers/development organisations to list apps under pre-defined categories when they’re creating them on the Integrato Developer Portal.

You can create new categories by using the “Create New Category” option. As an admin, you can also review  “New Category Request” submitted by developers to be added to your marketplace by approving or rejecting them.

Step 6: Email Template Settings

By default, we have a series of templates for you in the Mail Template Settings option. However, you’re free to always create a new template for various mail types that you see on the subjects with your personalized subjects & descriptions.

Step 7:

With regards to Authenticaation for  your organization in Integrato, you have 3 methods that you can select.

  • HTTP Basic Auth
  • OAuth 2.0
  • SAML 2.0

HTTP Basic Auth:

HTTP Basic Authentication is a simple challenge & response mechanism with which authentication information will be validated by the Integrato server.

OAuth 2.0:

The  OAuth 2.0 authorization framework is a protocol that allows a user to grant a third-party web site or application access.

SAML 2.0:

SAML is an open standard XML based framework for exchanging user authentication, entitlement and attribute information between (IdP) and (SP).

Step 8: Apps Section

Various apps submitted for approval from various developers/development organizations to the app marketplace after registering via the developer portal. These submissions are accessible via the apps section and are classified based on their status.

  • Pending
  • Approved
  • Rejected
  • Suspended

By clicking on the Action option on the right end of the row, you can view the submission and perform the necessary actions.

In this view, you will be able to see all the details of the app including the current status, pricing, description, images, banners, developer details and you can also track the recent activities & change app status.

Step 9: Manage Developers Section:

This section enables you to manage your developers / development organisations that sign up on your Developer Portal in order to list applications on your app marketplace.

You can deactivate any active user and reinstate any inactive user & you can also look at all the various apps they’ve submitted along with their current approval status.

Step 10: Reviews

End users can leave reviews for various apps they’ve used by posting them in the “Post a Review” section in their respective products.

You can approve / deny submitted reviews in the reviews listing table. Also, you can see complete details of the submitted review by viewing it.
