Getting started with Shopify Discogs Integration

Demo video of ” How Shopify to Discogs Integration works”

In this guide, we will be looking at configuring your Shopify to Discogs Integration where the products will be syncing in the direction from Shopify to Discogs.

In order to sync products from Shopify to Discogs, there are some mandatory requirements that you will need.

1.Release ID:

It is mandatory for all your listings on Shopify to have a Release ID. Without your Release ID, your products will not sync to Discogs. In Shopify, your Release ID can either be present on the SKU field or on the Barcode field.

2.Product Type or Tags:

We have added this feature because if you are selling multiple commodities on your site along with Music records it will help you to separate the products to be synced to Discogs out of other products

The products you would like to sync from Shopify should either have a Product Type or have a Tag. Only products assigned to a certain Product Type or Tag in Shopify can be selected to sync to Discogs. DisConnect searches for the Product Type or Tag you give during setup to sync accordingly.

Once these mandatory requirements are in place, you can follow the steps below to sync your products from Shopify to Discogs.

Step 1: You can use the below URL for registration.
